The origin: Novodvorskaya х Vladimirskaya
The variety is winter hardy and productive (up to 17 t/ha under the planting scheme 5 х 3 m on the seed stock of wild sweet cherry).
The tree is medium high and with pyramidal and raised crown of medium density. The fruiting is on the shoot of the previous year and on bouquet branchlets.
Biological peculiarities: it starts fruiting on the 3rd year after planting in an orchard on the seed stock. It is partially fetal itself. The best pollinators are the following varieties 'Pamyati Vavilova', 'Seyanets #1', 'Novodvorskaya', 'Vyanok' and sweet cherry varieties such as 'Narodnaya', 'Zhurba' and 'Syubarovskaya'. It has medium resistance to Coccomyces and Monilia fructigena.
Fruits are of medium size (the average weight is 4.5 g.). They are rounded and dark red.
The stone is small and separates easily from the flesh.
The flesh is is dark red, of medium density, juicy and of palatable sour-sweet taste. The degustation evaluation is 4.7 points. Juice is dark red.
Consumption period: the beginning of July.
It was passed to the State variety trial system in 1995.
