The origin: Molodyozhnaya x Nort star
The variety is winter hardy and productive (up to 21 t/ha under the planting scheme 5 x 3 m on the seed stock of wild sweet cherry).
The tree is of medium growth vigour with globose and raised crown of medium density. The fruiting is on the shoot of the previous year.
Biological peculiarities: it starts fruiting on the 3rd year after planting in an orchard on the seed stock. It is non fetal itself. The best pollinators are the following varieties ‘Vyanok’, ‘Novodvorskaya’ and ‘Nort Star’. It has medium resistance to Coccomyces and it isn't affected by Monilia fructigena.
Fruits are large (the average weight is 4.8 g.). They are rounded and dark red.
The stone is small and separates easily from the flesh.
The flesh is dark red, of medium density, juicy and of palatable sourish sweet taste. The degustation evaluation is 4.8 points. Juice is dark red.
Consumption period: the first and second decades of July.
It was passed to the State variety trial system in 2008.
