Assessment of registered and promising fruit and small fruit crops varieties on fruit suitability to long-term storage and commercial processing.

Working out and improvement of fruit and small fruit crops storage technologies in traditional and controlled atmosphere.

Working out low-waste process and pressless technology for natural juices, sauced products and powders production.

Developing new kinds of tinned food on the basis of non-traditional fruit and small fruit crops.

Working out normative documents of the Republic of Belarus for fresh fruits, berries and products of their processing.

Offers to production and amateur horticulture:  

         Technologies: of apple fruits storage of the Belarusian commercial assortment in traditional and controlled gas atmosphere and of black currant, red currant and strawberry storage.

         Methods: determination of optimal harvesting time for apple fruits for their long term storage on the basis of iodine starch test; prognosis of apple tree  fruits storability on the basis of their mineral composition estimation and storage diseases aptitude; fruit and small fruit varieties estimation and selection on quick freezing suitability, recommendations on the use of quickly freezed fruits and berries.

         New kinds of tinned food on the basis of rare fruit and small fruit crops (sea buckthorn, black chockeberry, cultivated mountain ash, European elder, high cranberry, etc.
