Breeding of black and red currant, gooseberry, strawberry, raspberry and sea buckthorn on stable productivity, disease resistance, increased content of biologically active substances, suitability to different kinds of processing and machine harvesting.

zones of Belarus.

Highly productive small fruit crops varieties included into the State Register of varieties and wood and shrubby species of the Republic of Belarus and which are under the State Variety Trial such as: black currant – Byelorusskaya sladkaya, Byelorussochka, Volshebnitsa, Katyusha, Klavdiya, Klussonovskaya, Pamyat' Vavilova, Pamyati A.G. Voluzneva, Partizanka, Rogneda,Svityazyanka,Tserera; red currant – Krynichka, Nenaglyadnaya, Prygazhunya, Purpurnaya; strawberry – Dachnitsa, Klassika, Krasny Bereg, Slavyanochka; gooseberry – Byelorusski, Koral, Masheka, Ravolt, Shchedry; raspberry – Alyonushka, Dvoinaya; sea buckthorn – Plamennaya, Gaspadar;black chokeberry – Venisa, Nadzeya; blue honeysuckle – Zinri; high cranberry – Pamyati Valentiny.
Technologies:gooseberry propagation from combined branches letting to receive 80% of the rooted plants; green cuttings propagation of honeysuckle, high cranberry, Japanese quince, sea buckthorn and European elder letting to receive 60-80% of the rooted plants.
Growing technologies of small fruit crops (black and red currant, gooseberry, raspberry and strawberry) letting to receive small fruits yield of 8-12 t/ha.
